About The Cowork, Johar Town
A coworking space in Lahore built for people who work late
The Cowork is a shared workspace at 95 College Road, in PCSIR Staff Colony on the edge of Johar Town. We sit deliberately just off the main boulevard: close enough that Johar Town, Wapda Town, Canal Road and UET are all a short drive away, far enough that you are not queuing in traffic every morning and paying for it in rent.
We rent three things and we publish what each one costs. A hot desk is any free seat in the open workspace at PKR 15,000 a month. A dedicated desk is a permanent seat with a locker that stays yours at PKR 25,000 a month. A private office is a furnished, lockable cabin for a team, from PKR 60,000 a month. Internet, electricity, power backup, cleaning, tea & refreshments and your meeting room credits are inside those numbers. There is no joining fee and no maintenance charge added later. See the full rate card.
Open 24 hours, with reception staffed 9 AM to 8 PM
Members hold biometric access 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays. Our reception desk is staffed 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and that is the window in which a call, a WhatsApp message or an email gets the quickest answer. Outside it, the building keeps running — security, power, internet and your desk do not clock off.
That distinction matters more here than it does in most cities. A large share of Lahore's freelancers and agency teams work American or British hours, which means starting at six in the evening and finishing at two or three in the morning. Almost no coworking space in the city is genuinely built for that. We are — read about the night shift.
Who works here — freelancers, startups and established teams
Around half our members are individuals and half are small teams, and the mix is deliberate. Too many freelancers and the space is silent; too many teams and it is a set of private companies that happen to share a car park.
- Freelancers and remote workers. Designers, developers, writers and consultants who have hit the ceiling of working from home — the load shedding, the household noise, the lack of anyone to think out loud with. A hot desk at PKR 15,000 solves all three.
- Startups and small agencies. Two to ten people who need a proper office but not a five-year lease. Take a block of dedicated desks and add seats as you hire.
- Established teams and branches. Companies opening a Lahore presence, or a delivery team needing a lockable, branded room with sound insulation for client calls. Private offices take teams from 2 up to 50.
Engineered for uptime: fibre internet and full power backup
A workspace in Lahore is only as good as its worst hour. Ours is engineered around the two things that reliably ruin a working day here: the power and the internet.
We run dedicated fibre with a second line that fails over automatically, and industrial generators plus UPS on every desk and every network device. When the grid drops, the lights, the air conditioning, the router and your machine stay on. You usually will not notice it happened. For members on client calls at two in the morning, that is not a nice-to-have. See the full list of amenities.
Where we are — Johar Town, Wapda Town, PCSIR and College Road
95 College Road, PCSIR Staff Colony, Lahore 54770. We are on the western edge of Johar Town, a straight run from Wapda Town along College Road, inside PCSIR Staff Colony itself, and a short drive from UET and the university corridor. Parking is inside the property rather than on the road.
Questions people ask before they visit
Where exactly is The Cowork located?
We are at 95 College Road, PCSIR Staff Colony, Lahore 54770 — directly beside Johar Town, a few minutes from Wapda Town, Canal Road and UET. There is on-site parking, and the building is easy to reach from Abdul Haq Road and Khayaban-e-Firdousi.
What are your opening hours?
The Cowork is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — members have biometric access at any hour, including weekends and public holidays. Our reception is staffed from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily, and that is the window in which calls, WhatsApp messages and emails get the fastest reply.
How much does a coworking space in Lahore cost at The Cowork?
A Hot Desk is PKR 15,000 per month, a Dedicated Desk is PKR 25,000 per month, and a Private Office starts at PKR 60,000 per month. Every rate includes internet, full power backup, complimentary tea and filtered water, meeting room credits and 24/7 access. There are no hidden setup or maintenance charges.
Do you offer a night shift?
Yes. Our night shift runs 06:00 PM to 03:00 AM and is designed for freelancers and teams working US and UK client hours. The full facility stays open — internet, power backup, security, meeting rooms and the café are all available through the night. Very few coworking spaces in Lahore staff a genuine night shift.
Can I visit before I commit?
Yes, and we recommend it. Book a tour through the contact form or send us a WhatsApp message and we will show you the space, the desk you would actually sit at, and the internet speed on a live test. Tours take about fifteen minutes.
What happens during a power cut?
Nothing. We run industrial generators plus UPS backup on every desk and every network device, so the lights, the air conditioning, the internet and your machine stay on through load shedding. This is the single most common reason people leave a home office in Lahore.
